No Bubble in Nashville
Housing Predictor, a website that prides itself on providing "Independent Real Estate Market Forecasts" placed Nashville 11th out of 250 cities nationwide for projected appreciation.
"Sales of homes in Nashville have fallen for three straight months on a median price of $155,000. However, Housing Predictor expects sales to increase during the summer and forecasts 2007 to be a strong year for the market, netting 6.9% in appreciation on average.
People are moving to Tennessee like never before, expanding at the fastest rate in the state’s history. High employment and lower taxes contribute to the increase. Tennessee is booming. Only Florida, California and Texas are seeing as many newcomers as the nation migrates to warmer climates. The beautiful green rolling hills of Tennessee are quite an attraction."
